Privacy policy
We collect as little as we can. No advertising, no tracking, no selling of data.
Who we are
Xecil Hub is a trading name of Xecil Digital Solutions (XDS), Ghana. We run xecilhub.com and ui.xecilhub.com and make Xecil UI and the other Xecil Hub apps. Contact: sales@xecilhub.com.
What we collect, and why
- Orders: your name, email, country, number of licences and, if you give it, your company. We use them to send payment details, your licence key and receipts, and to keep accounting records.
- Messages you send through the contact form: your name, email, organisation (optional) and the message, so we can reply.
- Bug reports: your email, the app version, your operating system and what happened, so we can fix the problem and tell you when it is fixed.
- Server logs: our web host records IP addresses and requests to keep the sites secure and running. These logs are deleted automatically by the host.
We do not use analytics, advertising or social media trackers, and we do not load fonts or scripts from other companies.
Payments
Card payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store card numbers.
In the apps
Xecil UI works offline. Your designs stay on your computer. Licence keys are checked on your computer without sending anything to us. The app only goes online when it checks for updates (this sends the app version to ui.xecilhub.com), or when you choose to import from Figma or a website.
How long we keep it
- Orders: as long as your licence is in use, and at least as long as the law requires for accounting records.
- Messages and bug reports: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to run the business: our web and email host, and our payment provider for payments. We do not sell or rent personal data.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (we keep only what the law requires, such as invoices). Email sales@xecilhub.com from the address you used. We reply within 30 days. We follow Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and, for visitors in the EU and UK, the GDPR.
